therealmikeholmes: Saturday sketch. I drew this during my book signing at the Halifax Chapters. It didn’t go great (but the one right after that in Dartmouth totally did) - at one point, some middle-aged woman saw my name on the sign, and sneered “Mike Holmes?!? You have GOT to be kidding me” because I share a name with a famous Canadian handyman, and we clearly BOTH can’t be named the same thing. It’s like the Highlander. I smiled and told her my name wasn’t some elaborate prank put on by the bookstore to make her look stupid (not the actual words used).
